What happens if you dont turn in your victim information sheet on an assault case?
Q. Hello. I recently received my victim information sheet after pressing assault charges on an individual and I didnt notice that it had to be turned in by a specific date. What happens if i dont turn it in? Also I have another question. What are the chances of the person I pressed charges against somehow getting a victim information sheet even though they didnt press charges on me? Is it customary for both the victim and the assailant to get victim information sheets to fill out?

At what point is a rape victim responsible for helping themselves?
Q. Rape is a horrific crime that stays with the victim, we all know this. My question is, when do you stop blaming the rapist for the emotional disturbances caused by the event? Say a woman is raped at the age of 18. If she's still having emotional problems at the age of 70, is it OK to blame her problems on the rapist from 52 years ago? At what point does the "victim card" expire? Or does getting raped once entitle you to a lifetime scapegoat for all your problems? Great answers everyone, thank you!

What exactly would a lawyer need to posses in order to prove the victim had a medical condition?
Q. What exactly would a lawyer need to possess in order to prove, and have the right to show the jury that the victim had a medical condition, like post dramatic stress disorder? And what would a lawyer need to prove that their client had lived on a certain lot longer than another neighbor?
